Portugal vs. Uruguay – Where To Watch

With the group stage coming to an end, and the sudden death stage starting – one of the first games to be played is going to be the Portugal vs. Uruguay match on Saturday June 30th at 11:00 a.m. P.S.T.

Portugal did not impress in their recent tie with Iran while Uruguay looked very strong in their 3-0 win over host nation Russia.  Expect Portugal captain Ronaldo to bring his A game to the match as he so often does.  Uruguay, on the other hand, can expect high scoring forwards Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani to try to continue their form into the knockout rounds.

Uruguay finished their first 3 games undefeated so you can expect them to come flying out of the gates once the whistle blows.  Portugal will need the team that showed up against Spain to show up as opposed to the one that showed up against Iran.  Portugal will also need to get Ronaldo some service as only Ronaldo (4) and Quaresma (1) have scored for the team in the tournament.
